That's a wrap........

Well that wraps up another amazing market for this year. Thanks to all of the wonderful people who came out this weekend to "explore, shop, eat, listen to great music, be inspired and just enjoy the day". It was a record high with nearly 2000 people attending!

A big thank you goes out to our very talented and inspiring vendors, "Married To The Dawg" Food Truck for serving up their delicious food, to "Mile Zero" and "Kelly Roxanne Girvan - Singer/Songwriter" for entertaining the public while they shopped, to our so very hard working and efficient volunteers and last but not least the "Boganes" family for allowing us once again the use of their beautiful farm for our market. It really is the most perfect setting for our event.

We are exhausted but thrilled to have had our best year to date. The public turn out and quality of our vendors were beyond expectation. Looking forward to doing it all again next year!

5th Annual Island Mavins Handmade and Vintage Market....July 23 and 24th, 2016

It's that time of year again, time to start planning our 2016 market. Our market will be held at the same location as last year which is 2734 Island View Rd. Saanichton. B.C. (turn right off of the Patricia Bay Highway as you are heading to Sidney) on a lovely farm with a big red barn on it.....such a pretty location!

The market will be held on the same weekend in July (which is always the second last weekend of the month) and will remain a two day event:

  • Saturday July 23rd 2016 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and
  • Sunday July 24th 2016 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

The entry fee for the public will be $3.00 per day or $5.00 for the two days. Children 12 and under get in free. There will also be lots of free parking on-site.

We have many of our wonderful previous vendors returning along with amazing new vendors all bringing an array of fabulous items such as refurbished furniture, antiques, vintage and upcycled home decor, handmade signs, handmade linens, handmade cushions, handmade soaps and lotions, paper goods, floral arrangements and so much more!

Note: If you are interested in being a vendor at our market this year please see the "Vendors Information" section at top of this page.

So make sure you mark these dates on your calendar!

Looking forward to seeing you there!

2015 Island Mavins "Market Moments"............

A big "thank you" to all of the people who came out this year to support us at our new market location....even with the "hot hot" weather the turn out was beyond expectation!

Also thanks to "Tayrex Food Truck" for the delicious food, to "Mile Zero" and "Leslie Gentile" for serenading the public while they shopped.

To our very talented vendors who came ready to display their wonderful wares and for braving the "heat" on one of the "hottest" weekends so far this summer. You really out did yourselves!

To our fabulous and very hard working volunteers, we couldn't have done it without you!

And last but not least...to the "Boganes" family for allowing us the use of their beautiful farm for our market this year.

We are exhausted but looking forward to doing it all again next year!
